Obtaining a Marriage License in San Bernadino County

To obtain a marriage license in San Bernadino County, you must both visit together the County Clerk’s office in San Bernadino or Hesperia. Please call (855) 732-2575 and select option #5 “County Clerk” to schedule an appointment from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.

Note that you will need your ID’s, and all of your parent’s full names and birth location for the marriage license application.

Getting a Certified Copy of your Marriage Certificate in San Bernadino County

After your signed license has been recorded at the County Clerk’s Office, which is usually two weeks after they receive the signed license, you will be able to obtain a certified copy. I suggest that you pick up two or three certified copies, you will inevitably need them one day.
