Congratulations again on your upcoming marriage!  You must obtain a marriage license from the County within the 90 days before your wedding ceremony.  A marriage license obtained from Orange County is valid for you to be married in any other California County. You must both visit one of the local Orange County offices together to pick up your license. The offices are open during regular business hours.

The process is simple.  You can simply walk in to any office when it is open.  However, it is highly recommended that you fill out the online form before you go, as this will save you time.  You can also use this form to book an appointment for your visit – highly recommended.

Fill out marriage license form online and book an appointment

If you have any questions, call the county marriage license office at (714) 834-2500.
